According to Paco Rabanne's brand director Vincent Thilloy, the Fame bottle, made of shiny silver and gold plastic, should convey the glamorous atmosphere of the 60s and "attract a younger generation".
The bottle design captures the legendaryChainmail dress and boots, designed for the brand by Creative Director Julien Dossena, as well as earrings and a bracelet from the brand's popular accessories. The Fame sunglasses were inspired by Audrey Hepburn's glasses.
The Fame fragrance consists of 90 percent vegan natural components and is made in France. Paco Rabanne wanted to create a new chypre composition using three key notes – frankincense, vanilla, and sandalwood. Other ingredients include natural jasmine and a mango accord.
The jasmine for the fragrance is produced in Grasse, France. The frankincense is sourced from Somalia. The sandalwood is also environmentally sourced in Australia, and the socially responsible vanilla comes from Madagascar.The mango accord is created entirely from natural components for the first time.
