The Via Camerelle fragrance is named after the most famous, commercial, and bustling street of the wonderful island of Capri. As legend has it, there, in the distant year of 1380, on the occasion of the queen's arrival, local monks generously decorated their monastery with flowers growing on the island. Later, with the help of an alchemist, they created the first perfumes based on these flowers. Many centuries later, in 1948, a new abbot found the formula for the ancient perfume and tried to recreate it. Thus, from a unique and romantic legend, the famous perfume house Carthusia was founded, captivating with beautiful fragrances to this day.

The Carthusia Via Camerelle fragrance clearly exudes the freshness of lemon and bitter orange in combination with shades of sea moss and cedarwood.
