Mix a tube of cream colour with a developer of your choice: No. 1 (6%), No. 2 (9%) or No. 3 (12%).
Following is the breakdown:

Using a brush or applicator, apply the required amount of mixture to damp hair and distribute it evenly over the entire length. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Finish by applying a shampoo for colour-treated hair.
